Invent Your Own Language

I'm not sure how one goes about doing this.  If you speak in a new language,
you want people to understand what you're saying.  I'm going going to pondering
this in the coming days.  kas

You Have Become a Forest

Artist Unknown
“One day when you wake up, you will find that you have become a forest.

You have grown roots and found strength in them that no one thought you had.
You have become stronger and more beautiful, full of life giving qualities.
You have learned to take all the negativity around you
and turn it into oxygen for easy breathing.
A host of wild creatures live inside you and you call them stories.
A variety of beautiful birds rest inside your mind and you call them memories.
You have become an incredible self sustaining thing of epic proportions.
And you should be so proud of yourself, of how far you have come
from the seeds of who you used to be.”~

You Do Not Bring the Ocean to a River

This is not to say rivers aren't awesome.
If you feel confined or contained or shrunken,
you're free to leak and expand and overflow. kas

Between what is Known and Not-Known

Hearing of RBG's death broke my heart wide open.  She fought so long
and so valiantly for equality.  For all of us.  Every. Single. One. Of. Us.
She was fluid...and her spirit remains with us.  We are witnessing the first
tiny rumblings of the new, still unformed but pressing outward to bring
forth a world where what RBG dedicated her life to is our reality.  Let. It. Be. So.  kas

Our Politics

May we find a way past the hard, mean hearts to the higher vibrations
where hearts are fair and truthful.  Where hearts serve true justice and real equality.
Where Liberty and Justice for ALL is an actuality.  kas

Joy Is Not A Crumb

Gazing at the Full Corn Moon last night through
the window from my pillow.  Joy.  Not a crumb. Thanks be for windows,
thanks be for clear skies, thanks be for full moons, thanks be for soft pillows. kas
