It does feel like we're "stepping into the past" once again
to wrench our democracy out of the hands of those who can't,
or won't see the genius of it, the equality of it,
the ideals and value of what it strives for.
Millions of people were persuaded against it.
We must remain vigilant and active as the "strive" continues.
