Sending you my heartfelt gratitude for being here.
Your presence is a treasure.
These words remind me it can be beneficial to see
slights and cruelty in a different light.
To turn them around and upside down.
Turn chaff into gold.
Not always easy to do, if you're like me,
where you get plummeted into immediate
defensiveness and outrage instead of counting to five
or ten or a hundred and gathering yourself back to ground.
"To be forgotten by the wider world
and the righeous religious,
and the weaponized soldiers
is not the worst thing.
It gives you time to discover yourself."
This matters.
Namaste'
