Things To Live For

Oh my, these are encouraging and comforting words...
like balm on a scrape.

"The astonishment waiting in the
small cracks of life where no one
expected anything to grow."

How delectable!
Like when I discover a flower
I'd forgotten planting blooming
for all its worth.

and

"Your own wildflower heart
that still longs to love this world
and everything in it."

I'm grateful to be part of
this group of seed planters!

PS:  Petrichor...is a new word for me.
"a pleasant smell that frequently accompanies the first rain
after a long period of warm, dry weather."
