"to reexamine the meaning of living and dying,"
This is not easy territory for this mortal being.
Yet, thinking of how nature refreshes itself
does fill me with a sense of justice.
Watching a documentary about the return of plant life
to Chernobyl, and a piece of land, locally, 25 years into returning
to its natural state with the help of humans, are moving experiences.
Yet...25 years! And it is still in the process.
It is fascinating to contemplate the tactics
plants and animals use to survive.
It's a pity it's necessary but I'm thankful it's so.
I wonder if we'll be able to witness
what happens once we're gone from the beyond?
