"Do not give up on this world."
Oh what a struggle as things appear to slide downward and downward.
That's when I remember how well programmed I am for trial and tribulation.
That happens when you grow up reading about
martyrs, crucifixions and sorrowful mysteries.
I wish the joyful and glorious would have had a stronger impact.
Bloodroot still blooms this spring.
The trees are waking up and showing their spring finery.
Grands are growing and thriving;
some poised at the threshold of adulthood,
some having reached it, others not far behind.
How can one ask for more?
Oh, let me say, one can ask for more...so much more.
Equality.
Decency.
Fairness.
Let's start there and keep going.
