I'll admit the last thing I want to do
is "follow my grief",
"pursue my imperfections",
or "exaggerate my eccentricities".
However, since the same invitation
keeps coming in various forms,
I'm wondering if I might, at least,
consider the possibility and
crack open a tiny window.
The word majesty
conjures an air of hierarchy or dominion
which curtails my enthusiasm.
I prefer dignity, magnificence, splendor or awesomeness.
