This book has moved me.
Distilling it into some thoughts here
is a challenge
but worthwhile, I hope,
in providing a taste for you.
The author uses various techniques
in an attempt to explain
the vast complexity of creation
from an indigenous point of view.
(Like putting sunlight in a bottle.)
And he's forthright about
the shortcomings of reducing it
to printed words on a page.
Nonetheless, words do matter.
This claim that narcissism
or the idea that someone is "better than"
is at the root of our troubles,
hit home with me in a big way.
