I'm honoring and trusting my steady tides today.
May they be strong enough
to carry me through
all manner of chaos and catastrophe.
May they keep me calm and curious.
May they give me pause when agitated
and agitate me when I'm numbed.
May they give me eyes and ears
to see and hear the meaning beneath the scene.
And may they always, always,
keep me compassionate
toward myself and others.
