Nonstop irony is a vicious cycle.
The key word is nonstop.
I find irony, done gracefully, to be quite effective in making a point.
It's when irony leads to cynicism
then leads to propaganda and lies, that it gets twisted.
Irony can't convey truth for a simple reason:
it never means what it says. But for the same reason,
thank heavens, it can't invalidate the truth.
Truth matters.
