I don't completely agree with this quote.
I agree that Wisdom is like water.
In my mind, Wisdom overflows containers.
Wisdom cannot be captured.
In my mind, churches
(and individuals and societies)
have attempted
to capture and contain Wisdom
from the beginning of time.
In my mind, they have failed to do so.
That's where mystery and awe
and wonder enter.
It is what remains beyond
walls and words.
Beyond containers.
